Our surf jewelry is made with Oliwia Cajdler, who runs the jewellery brand Glina: her technique, our patterns and colours. On the product card the series is marked GLINA X SRF. The necklaces set polymer clay elements on a stainless steel chain, and a flower motif returns across most of the series in a seventies key. Almost all of it is made in Europe.

Flower Power is the hippie flower drawing and comes as a necklace and as a ring. Love Story adds a natural pearl and a cracked heart, Pearls keeps small pearls on the clay, and Sunny Bloom exists in two colours, Terra and Blue. Beside them sits a set of three Surf Chain bracelets in Silver Haze, entirely stainless steel, with a heart-shaped charm; they were made for Valentine's Day.
Wearing it and looking after it

A clay necklace reads well on a bare neck and over a printed t-shirt, because the clay colour follows the print; in the round neckline of a longsleeve it sits just as easily. One rule covers clay and steel alike: take it off before a bath, before sleep and before sport. Stainless steel itself is not an allergen, but clay and pearl dislike long contact with water or sweat. Each piece arrives in a white, minimalist box.
What to wear it with

The clay colour plays with printed graphics, so start from the women's t-shirts and longsleeves, then add the steel bracelets once the neckline is busy. To round the set off, look through accessories, scarves and shawls and bags; in winter a surf necklace works over a roll-neck, and a beanie finishes it. Buying for someone else? A Surf Inc. voucher settles it.
Questions we get most often
keyboard_arrow_downkeyboard_arrow_up
Can I swim in it? No, and the same goes for a bath, sleep and sport: clay and pearl dislike long contact with water.
Does the steel irritate skin? The Surf Chain bracelet is entirely stainless steel, which is not an allergen, and the chains use the same material.
How do the necklaces differ? By motif: hippie flowers in Flower Power, a natural pearl and a cracked heart in Love Story, small pearls in Pearls, Terra and Blue in Sunny Bloom.
Who makes it? The Glina studio, run by Oliwia Cajdler, and almost all of it is produced in Europe.
Is surf jewellery a good present? On the cards we describe these necklaces as a holiday keepsake or a gift, and that is how they are usually bought; more small things sit in add-ons.
