# Surf Inc. > Surf Inc. is a Polish lifestyle and surf-inspired clothing brand. We design our own collections and sew most of them in Poland. We sell direct-to-consumer at surf.inc in seven languages across Europe, and we run two physical stores in Poland. The brand was founded in 2016 and is registered in Kraków. It was born on the Baltic coast, where surfing history is only just beginning. Our design language is simple and European rather than tropical, and we keep production local so we can verify working conditions and labour-law compliance ourselves, and because Poland has a long textile-industry tradition. ## Fabrics and make - All fabrics carry the OEKO-TEX certificate: tested for substances harmful to skin and health. - Hoodies and sweatshirts: 90% organic cotton with 10% polyester, the polyester recycled on part of the range. Lighter models are 300-320 g, the heavier ones 400-500 g. Waffle-knit models are 100% cotton. - T-shirts, longsleeves and tops: 100% organic cotton, 180-280 g. - Dresses: cupro is the main fabric, either 100% cupro or 55% cupro with 45% viscose. Some models are 100% cotton or a modal blend. - Cupro is a regenerated cellulose fabric made from cotton linter: silky to the touch, breathable, and it drapes like viscose. It has its own line across dresses, shirts, tops and accessories. - Shirts: Italian linen, cotton, and cupro-viscose blends. - Women's swimwear: 78% recycled polyamide with 22% elastane, 210 g, with UV protection. - Caps: cotton, corduroy and denim. Most carry front embroidery, and the fit is adjusted with a strap or a snapback rather than sold in sizes. - Beanies and balaclavas: mohair and merino wool blends. - Bucket hats: cotton, corduroy, terry cloth and linen. - Most garments are sewn in Poland, and every product page states the country of manufacture for that item. - Packaging is free of single-use plastic. Products ship in recycled brown paper bags, closed with staples or paper tape. Most labels are natural linen with eco-friendly print. ## Buying, delivery and returns - Returns: 14 days from the delivery date. Return shipping is paid by the buyer.
